So there's a new game in town and I was excited for the arrival of our very own Whole Foods Market. I stopped by on opening day (6/18) and in the middle of a busy lunchtime crowd, they handled the load quite competently. I opted for a Thai salad that was both fresh and popping with flavor. Crumbled pork provided the protein. Greens had arugula and cilantro along with green onions. Beautiful crunch from the peanuts along with some black rice noodles for cold creaminess. Yes, the heat was provided by the peppers.
As I was short on time I did not get to wander through the store to see all they had to offer. The experience of disovering all that is here will be saved for a future visit.
